Ingredients
- 600 ml (3 cups) freshly squeezed mandarin juice (from about 1 kg of mandarins)
- 600 ml (3 cups) water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 4 slices of ginger
- 10 peppercorns
- 2 star anises
- 1-2 TBSP honey or other sweetener (optional)
How to Make It
Step 1
Add all ingredients to a pot and place over high heat. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to low heat. Cook for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat and serve hot.
